Growthlens (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Growthlens platform, which provides algorithm-aware Instagram audits and AI-generated hooks for social media managers and creators. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, password hash, and authentication provider identifiers when you sign up or log in.
• Client and audit data: Instagram handles, niches, goals, bios, competitor handles, and the public profile and post data we analyse on your behalf.
• Generated content: audit reports, hooks, and other outputs we produce in response to your requests.
• Billing data: plan and credit balances, and payment metadata (we do not store full card details — payments are processed by Razorpay).
• Usage data: product events such as feature usage, errors, and interactions with pricing pages, used to improve the service.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and approximate location derived from your IP.

3. How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Growthlens platform.
• Run audits, generate hooks, and deliver other features you request.
• Process payments, apply credits, and prevent fraud.
• Send transactional emails (account, billing, audit completion).
• Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve the product.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Instagram and public profile data

Growthlens analyses publicly available Instagram profile data for the handles you choose to audit. We do not access private accounts, direct messages, or any data that requires Instagram login on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to analyse any third-party handles you submit.

5. Sharing your information

We share data only with service providers that help us run Growthlens:

• Lovable Cloud — database, authentication, and storage infrastructure.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• AI model providers — to generate audits and hooks from your inputs.
• Email delivery providers — to send transactional emails.

We never sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Growthlens, our users, or others.

6. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Audit reports, hook generations, and client records are retained while your account exists so you can revisit them. You can delete clients and request account deletion at any time by emailing us; we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, hashed passwords, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

Growthlens is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
